2/9 with Debi. Like some others, cheekily parked in front of main gates with signs on and jumped over. Some tree cover from the road and no sign of anyone about. Trig is now in tall grass; however, a little path has been mowed to it very recently and a perfect circle mowed around it! Trig isn't far from the gate and nothing of interest immediately inside; there's another large inner fence. The trig just sits in the outer perimeter so they could easily put a fence running to it and make it properly accessible for all.

Reached via destroyed fencing along Lower Bedfords Road into an overgrown field, visible from there if you walk along the metal fence on that property into the (I think waterworks?) compound. Couldn't access directly but fence probably scaleable if you bring a stool or foldable chair, trig is clearly visible from outside however. There is a sign that says beware guard dogs on the main gate but main compound where the trig is located looks completely empty despite sign. Looks in good condition still from distance. See picture. Fun puzzle to solve to access or get a view of it and a nice urban walkabout.

Pulled in at a gate by the covered reservoir and then walked into a field with scrub and horses until I could see the pillar.

Easy gates with a good pull-in beside them on Lower Bedfords Rd 100m from the trig. Pillar has a 'BSM' style FB; retains original top cap, deeply indented lettering; RHS sight hole open. Good distant night time views to SW over London.

Not easy to see from the road if you are short !! And I was wearing the wrong clothes and shoes to hop over the fence. I could have gone into the field next door to get a closer look but am not keen on horses and it was very muddy which is no good when you are in womens court shoes !!

Bent railings @ TQ 52790 91688 - a bit over looked by houses but no problem for me. need to be slim to get thru' - nothing in pockets and had to unzip fleece and jacket. Secateurs needed to clear a few brambles at access point

Didn't fancy risking my health climbing this spiked fence, although less daunting than some I've seen. Readily visible from road or next door field. Views out over Thames valley and Canary Wharf.

Parked in front of the main gate to the reservoir & quick hop over gate followed by exceptionally fast run, pics & hop back over before anyone notices. Birds are still using it for aerial bombardment but top looks better now than in previous photos

This Trig is a favourite toilet point for the surrounding avian invaders and this is probably due to it's very private and fenced in location. Within the grounds of an underground resevoir commanding impressive views over Romford and East London. Anyway not to be deterred by a spiky fence , once inside the perimeter a quick sprint was made in order to obtain the accompanying pics. The Trig , FB and Spider are all in good nick despite the best efforts of the local birdlife.

Like others the points looked a little sharp and the forked lightening in the near distance sealed this as a quick dash. Derelict scrubland next to the reservoir provides access but parking on the fairly busy road involves a bump up over a fairly deep kerb

This pillar is situated in the grounds owned by a water company, and is completely surrounded by a metal fence. I was unable to get closer than about 15 yards. The pillar stood on top of a large earth mound which I think covers an underground reservoir

The trigpoint is inside a water works compound and impossible to get close to without permision. Getting as close as possible revealed the pillar to be in good condition but could not get close enough to get the FB number.

The fence stops you getting close The land is owned by Essex Water.
The best picture I could get This is on 6x Zoom.
