Super easy to find, the flap of turf is very obvious! The TP numbers 0001 - 0100 are a bit of a side project so always happy to tick another of these Passive Stations off the list, esp when its in such a beautiful location.

Standard 1" dia bolt in concrete block under 2-3" of turf. Easy find due to slight depression in the ground. Measured at 73cm from large fence post to bolt. Cut out a flap of turf to photograph it, and replaced the turf.

1" bolt in block, 1m R of short fence post, 0.7 m from fence. No info and no phone signal, luckily spotted depression and struck concrete immediately.

Midlothian. We found this fairly quickly using old photos. The fence posts are now upright but in the same places.

Another well buried surface block which took a bit of poking around with the trusty walking stick to find. Looks like no-one has been up here since the last log in April 2007. Note for anyone wanting to do some measuring from the sketch - fence post nail B is missing as that section of the fence looks like it has been replaced. Fence posts C & D are leaning over badly away from the road due to land slippage.

Had previously parked in this layby to climb Torphichen Hill but didn't have sketch with me then so popped back today on my way past. Got very funny looks from two families who stopped in the layby to watch me with tape measure and trowel.

Down this way to walk up Black Law so took the chance to locate this surface block. Quite easy to find using pictures from the site, only different is the fence has been replaced since they were taken. Forgot the camera so no pictures.

Passed by on the way down from Torfichen Hill. Still a midden , but stud is easily visible. You will not be needing your dibber.

Braved the icy road, only to find I had not got the OS details with me. Still found it though, under the snow. I remembered the photo of the cutting. Great spot on a wild road over the Moorfoots.

Found it. Beautiful location in the middle of the Lammermuir Hills. Unfortunately it is at a roadside and the area is strewn with fly tipped rubbish, old furniture, gas cylinders etc, hence the low score. Photographs now uploaded.
