This is the first log ever unless any retrospective ones appear. I researched this on the OS legacy pages and noted there was maintenance carried out on the bolt in 1981. I parked again at NM 47758 27566 walked west along the track and at the first easiest point made my way up to the summit. Disappointed to see the Cairn here as my GPS indicated the bolt was underneath? However its quite possible it was on the rocks somewhere but gave up my search after 20 minutes. This Is why assume they have been no other logs? A nice walk and views. The legacy site also mentions an 'Old trig' with slightly different eastings and northings to the bolt. First of three walks today. About a 4 mile return walk.
