Final one of six today as I try and pick off the Peak District pillars. Easy parking and access thanks to layby and gate right beside trig. Nice location, but no great views to speak of.

Done on a linear walk from Chelmorten to Bakewell after visiting Lathkill Dale. In a corner of a field just off a road and very easy to find.

Did this as part of a circular walk of Lathkill Dale and Bradford Dale. Great views make this a better alternative to the walk alongside the River lathkill from Alport to Conksbury Bridge. Trig could do with a lick of paint.

Easy one to find just off the road and bridleway. Nice views all round. TP in good condition but is getting a bit green and slimey. Could do with a new coat of paint.

Almost a road side visit. Just passing on my way to the start of a walk. Stopped in the gateway, hopped over the gate and hey-presto there it is. Pillar in good condition with orriginal indented lettered plug. Nice views - paricularly nice to see some hot air balloons rising up into the early morning sun.

Its an interesting drive in from Youlgreave along the hairpin bends. The gate into the field is looking very rickety and I took care to not cause it further deterioration.

By a dry-stone wall in a sheep pasture just off a lane. All intact with the original plug - slightly indented letters. North and South sightholes open, the others closed. Very little white paint. The concrete base is exposed by about 3 inches all round and there is some erosion beneath it. Lovely views all round.

Could not reach this pillar, which is by a stone wall in a field and close to the road, because a farmer was rounding up sheep beside it and I was short of time. It seemed to be in good shape.
