GPS indicated pillar on high ground in the field beside the reservoir. However, that field also has a massive fence, so didn\'t bother getting any closer than 14m. It\'s definitely not there. Good views north though.

I\'m with Agent and Fas... it looks like it was lost to the higher ground of the field-pen within the farm to the SouthWest.. dodgy farmyard doings precluded me today but close enough to know she\'s a goner.

Summerhouse ..about 50 yards, dead-ahead.

etrex seemed to be indicating the grounds of the house to the W rather than the main compound.

Gone... Seems that it was to the west of the main compound - heavily fortified as usual.

Long gone. GPS seemed to indicate area outside the triple barbed wire fence but inside the outer fence.

FB was S3751 - info kindly supplied OS. No other archived records available. Date built unknown (some time in 1946), order unknown, in Secondary Block NS77 (Glasgow). Date of demise unknown. It was on 1976 LR65, but not on 1981 edition. Covered reservoir seems to have been redeveloped around then, possibly 1979 when nearby S3613 (Drumbow) was destroyed under similar circumstances. Site visited (outsite perimeter fence) 9/07/1990, GRP.
