X marks the spot! Some Wag has given the block a white Saltire. Good oversight of the Ginormous Whitelee WindFarm across the East and South with rain-peeping Northern views of Kilpatricks and Campsies beyond lowly Glasgow... I even picked out Blairskaith from a safe distance! ;-) Ballageich Hill - the Block ..X marks the spot, Mast and Windfarm beyond.

Surface block with surprisingly good views over Glasgow and to the south including Arran. Easy plod across slightly squelchy terrain from layby at NS 5393 5005. Obvious path to the block. View from from the little promontory near the road over the new windfarm quite pleasant!

Celebrated my 500th trig by visiting my first Block. Discovered after yomping across moorland that there is a perfectly good path. Covered in snow but easily cleared away to find large bolt in centre of the block.

By path at flat rushy summit. Pillar gone: base converted to Block, with a few pieces of concrete in small summit cairn. Rough tussocky climb from ESE. FB of former pillar was S3656.

Some lamentable navigation found me on the 320-something lump WSW of the summit before I gathered my wits and found the block and cairn.
