Great walk up from the Water of Ken road. We ascended through the Moorbrock estate, over a burn and a deer fence, up pathless and steep but easy slopes to Nick of the Lochans. Then up to trig and summit. Great views from the top. A light sprinkling of snow as well. You could see Arran and the Trossachs quite easy but not the Lake District. Descended via Benniner and Moorbrock Hill.

From Green Wells of Scotland, good parking SW side road (NX 5572 9440). Good track leads up a fair way, I diverted off for Willieanna, then over Black Shoulder. Pillar sits in a shelter cairn close to the main summit cairn. Centre cap missing, no plug; all sight holes open. Extensive panoramic views.

My Corbett #43, Rosie's 42nd. Ascended up what I suppose is the 'usual' route via Willianna, Dunool, Black Shoulder. A bright, clear day with excellent views. Any 'Slight' damage to the TP is very slight indeed!

A nice easy 7 mile walk(by Corbett standards) from the Green Well of Scotland to bag this summit which is listed as Cairnsmore of Carsphairn on the mountain lists i've seen. Assume it gets the Cairnsmore of Deugh name on here from the river Water of Deugh which flows to the West. Nice summit with extensive views. Trig pillar looks in good nick to me.

vgc - no damage noted from my visit or photos, nor from previous comments. No cap or plug. In stone shelter cairn. Circuit from SE, Graigengillan, via Windy Standard. E face is rather fine, although mapped crags are overstated.

Pillar VGC. spider centre open. 3 sight holes open, RHS plugged, innards filled with debris. FB faces south ~ 177°. Parking on old road, west side of A713 at NX557943 . Followed mapped track opposite into hills. Footbridge across Benloch Burn (NX561951) down, barefoot crossing necessary. No views on day of visit due to fog.

Cracking views on a clear day. We saw the Lake District, Isle of Man, Ireland, Ailsa Craig, Arran, Ben Lomond.... and most of the rest of the world! :-)
